iNiA - Sauer Products & IGUS

iNiA is a lamp for the context of a single-user workspace. To fulfil the requirements of lighting situations during periods of work as well as regeneration periods was the objective. The opening and closing of the lamp offers the essential lighting options.

The object, with its shape reminiscent of abstract sculpture, draws its impact from the context of German industrial culture along with its mechanical aesthetic. The aim was to include an ideational aspect of design in an interior design product, in order to reach an unknown an experimental manifestation, not least relating to a recollection of the basis of our present wealth.

iNiA has been awarded in the framework of the Design Plus Exhibition 2010
